Miami Heat: A Consistently Aggressive Bam Adebayo A Top 15 Player
Miami Heat: Bam’s A Sure Top Guy His 2-Way Ability And Consistent Aggression
While this piece is coming soon, he has always been more LeBron James than Kevin Garnett. Yes, he has Garnett’s all-around defensive capabilities as a big but LeBron has that too.
However, KG doesn’t share the same multitude of multiple offensive abilities, dexterity, fluid athleticism, and explosion that, both, Bam and Bron have. While neither has The Big Ticket’s nasty mentality on the court, that could be a factor too but yea, it’s just a fun fact here.
The point of it all is this though. When Bam is going this way, doing what he wants to do at the cup and taking advantage of the fear that it puts in the opposing team’s hearts, which then makes it easier and more effective in getting to the other stuff in his game—he can become, downright, unguardable.
When you combine that with his ability to make plays for his teammates, the fact that he can guard anybody on the floor, and the overall impact that he has on his team’s offense and defense with his tools, there can only be one conclusion.
At the peak of his powers and once he can be this consistently aggressive every night, the absolute final frontier for his growth as a player, this guy is a top 15 player in the NBA. That’s without a question.
It seems to be closer than it ever has been and you just can’t wait to see it all come together. This version should be enough to help the Miami Heat secure a title this year, with good fortune and discipline but with this version of Bam and Tyler Herro in the fold beyond this year, the future is as bright as ever too.
