Miami Heat: Ranking Fit Of Top 3 Potentially Available Stars – Donovan Mitchell

Donovan Mitchell is another player who might be ready to put on a different uniform next year.

2. Donovan Mitchell

After no deep playoff runs and few results in Utah, the team is trending towards a split of their stars. Rumors have been swirling around about Donovan Mitchell going to the Heat.

Mitchell going to the Heat seems like the right fit. He displays comparisons to Dwyane Wade and grew up watching the team play.

The likelihood of acquiring him for next season has probably increased, but it is still difficult to see. First, Mitchell would have to demand a trade, which he hasn’t done yet.

Then, Miami and Utah would have to agree on a trade. It isn’t certain that the Jazz would accept the assets that the Heat can offer them.

If he is added to the Heat, he would continue to grow as a star. He is a great scorer from multiple areas on the court.

When he gets hot, he can explode on any given night. He is a huge playoff performer.

His only areas of concern are his defensive hindrances and his scoring efficiency. Mitchell is a budding superstar, but the Heat have to be careful if they target him.

They cannot afford to have another player who goes cold and leaves the offense lacking any life.
