Miami Heat: They Chose Jalen Brunson’s Knicks Over Jimmy Butler’s Heat

The NBA could have had Ja Morant vs Stephen Curry, LeBron James vs Luka DoncicNikola Jokic vs Devin Booker, Giannis Antetokounmpo vs Jayson Tatum, and Jimmy Butler vs Joel Embiid.

It’s quite literally right there for the taking. Nobody wants to see Jalen Brunson vs Joel Embiid. That is not a headline.

That is not a marquee matchup. That’s a pathetic attempt to get New Yorkers into the arena and drunkenly yell as their team gets decimated.

Jalen Brunson over ME” is what Jimmy should be yelling at his phone because the disrespect is ridiculous.

There’s speculation now though that the Heat didn’t receive a Christmas Day game because the NBA didn’t want to compete with the NFL’s Green Bay Packers vs Miami Dolphins Christmas Day game.

The excuse is that the NFL ratings would blow the NBA’s out the water. This is ridiculous because for one, the NFL was going to do it anyways and two, Wisconsin, Florida, California, and Colorado all have NFL and NBA teams playing on Christmas.

Why would Miami be the worry? No matter how you look at it, Miami was robbed.

Who knows, maybe the NFL and NBA saved us from, both, a Miami Dolphins and Miami Heat loss on Christmas but it’s always nice to be represented for winning. And here, the NBA is blatantly telling their audience that whether you win or not and if you’re not Los Angeles or New York, good luck getting a game.

What a joke. And the NBA’s Christmas Day schedule sans the Miami Heat—is the punchline.
