Miami Heat: And If You Couldn’t See It, Jimmy Butler’s Numbers Scream It

In fact, during his Miami Heat tenure over the last three seasons, there have been few better than him when it mattered the most. Though this list isn’t the end all be all when it comes to the totality of playoff performance, it is a good indicator of who to look at to begin to build out the top of that list in the timeframe.

Here is the list in question.

Trailing only Giannis Antetokounmpo and Luka Doncic, two top five players in the game today and faces of the league, when it comes to 40+ point performances in the NBA Playoffs over the last three seasons, Jimmy Butler is as good as they are when the lights are the brightest.

If you can’t see that based on what you see him do during the postseason, then these stats should help you be able to see that he also aces the eye test. Plainly stated and though he has always turned it up in the postseason at all of his career stops, the Miami Heat’s version of Playoff Jimmy Butler is one of the best the league has had to offer.

Let’s just hope he has quite a bit more of this kind of stuff in the tank. They’ll need it.
