Duncan Robinson Impact For Miami Heat Different With Assertive Bam Adebayo

And the previous two situations are not exclusive of one another. This makes them just that much more positive type progressions, for all of the work that the Miami Heat still have to do on themselves.

Let’s go a bit deeper into it. Nobody in the NBA, besides Steph Curry, can still tilt a court like Duncan Robinson.

Even with all of his struggles since last season, defenses still feel the need to plaster and immediately shift if he gets an open look.

And when he’s hit a few, you can just forget about it, as multiple defenders still feel the need to leave their assignments, if need be, to prevent the open look. Well, on top of the fact that Robinson is also showing diversification in his game, you now have all of that working with a more assertive Bam Adebayo, especially offensively.

When Duncan has created that type of spacing on the floor, it, not only, allows Bam Adebayo to be a better version of himself due to fewer defenders being able to try to stop him, but it creates the same situation for each and every other guy on the court.
