Should Returning Duncan Robinson Shot Lead To Return in 3PA For Miami Heat?

What you have seen in the last several weeks is the returning prowess of Duncan Robinson as a shooter. In limited opportunity, he is, again, one of the Miami Heat’s most effective and efficient shooters.

A career 40 percent shooter on nearly eight attempts per contest, Robinson is only shooting 34 percent on five attempts at the moment. However, he is doing that in just 18.3 minutes per game.

Now, there are those out there that will point to the other parts of his game as being too deficient to have him in there, but that isn’t authentic either, as he’s shown improvement in all of the areas of his game. That includes his offensive diversity, his defense, and his penchant for fouling most notably.

And though he’ll never be confused with Bam Adebayo or Jimmy Butler on that side of the ball, working to improve is worth something. Some will also point to Max Strus being a better option, which isn’t necessarily true either.
