The Miami Heat May Make A Move But It Likely Won’t Involve Moving Lowry

However, he also provides a steady, solid, and intelligent presence at the point guard spot that still helps the team operate more fluidly and efficiently. That’s even when he isn’t making these kinds of tough shots on his own accord.

Now, some may say there are other options out there that could provide that and possibly some more. That may be correct, but unless there is a homerun answer, you don’t take that risk with what Jimmy Butler has shown you over the past few years, what Bam Adebayo is showing you now, and with the microwave of a weapon that Tyler Herro has shown to be.

There is also this. Like last season, even for all of his turmoil, conditioning questions, and missed time, Lowry still showed up to make a massive impact in the playoffs when on the floor, winning a game for the Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals.

So, for all the negative that many can find on Lowry, there is still a ton of positive. And when you think about it, he still can offer you something in the big spot.

If the rest of the team operates as it is supposed to, what Lowry does should only be positive. He’ll have his moments but so do they all and as long as he continues to shoot the ball with confidence and consistency, he and the Heat should be just fine.
