Con: Road trip right out of the gate

Here are Miami’s first four games coming out of the break, starting next Friday: at New Orleans (Feb. 23), at Sacramento (Feb. 26), at Portland (Feb. 27) and at Denver (Feb. 29).

That’s three games against playoff teams in the West and the Heat’s only soft opponent, Portland, is on the second night of a challenging road back-to-back.

It will be easy for the Heat to stumble out of the gate but, then again, I don’t know that anybody expected them to sweep the Bucks and 76ers in back-to-back nights going into the break considering all of their injuries.

The Heat are 15-12 on the road this season but went 2-3 on their last West Coast swing. Going .500 on this one would be considered a good outcome.
