Up: Kevin Love ⬆️

Twice did Love score 19 points during this stretch: In Milwaukee before the All-Star break and then in Sacramento. Love followed up his performance against the Kings with eight points in Portland.

Love hasn’t looked this strong since joining the Heat – and maybe his last couple of years in Cleveland. This looks like Minnesota Timberwolves-era Kevin Love, working to get a deep seal and using his touch around the rim.

Love is averaging 10.2 points on 54.8% shooting and 6.2 rebounds during this stretch, but the Heat missed him in Thursday’s loss to the Denver Nuggets. Love was sidelined with a bruised ankle, but the Heat hope to get him back soon. He has more than solved Miami’s questions at backup center and has emerged as an anchor of that second unit.
