After a red-hot start to the season winning their first three games,the Miami Heat cooled off a bit, losing their last two by a combined margin of 24 points.

Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade have carried most of the load, but Shawne Williams and Shabazz Napier have been afforded extra minutes and have stepped up.

Risers and fallers vary throughout an NBA season. Usually, if a player is cold or is struggling, they will be a faller. If a player has been hot and playing off-the-charts, they are risers.

In a perfect world, every player could and should be a riser, but this is the NBA–plagued with games of inconsistency and bitter losses.
