Miami Heat: 5 Risers and Fallers Through Early Part of the Season

Riser: Shawne Williams

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

In my last post I questioned whether or not Shawne Williams should be benched after a porous performance in the Heat’s first game. Since then, Williams is averaging 13.5 points and 4.8 rebounds, while shooting 60-percent from behind the arc. Williams, in my opinion, will be the Heat’s X-Factor moving forward, especially if he can knock down open shots.

Williams has been nothing short of impressive, and with Wade opening up wide open shots for the big man, there is no telling what his ceiling could be over the course of the season.
