The 5 Best Miami Heat NBA Finals Moments

5 of 5

1. The Heat Winning the 2006 NBA Championships (Game 6, 2006)

Obviously, this list has to begin with the moment when Miami won it’s first ever NBA title. The Heat were playing the Dallas Mavericks in a series that went to six games, and came out on top, 95-92. Dwyane Wade scored an impressive 36 points, and finished off the game by grabbing the rebound off of Jason Terry’s missed three-point attempt; he then flung the ball into the air, knowing he could finally call himself a champion.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are currently tied 1-1 with the Warriors, after a remarkable overtime win, Sunday night. Game 3 is Tuesday, 8 p.m. ET.
