In Conclusion…

After looking at the major contenders in the Eastern Conference, it’s pretty obvious that many teams could give the Heat some trouble, but the Cleveland Cavaliers are the clear favorite.

However, there are still plenty of question marks the Heat still have to answer. Goran Dragic and Chris Bosh have yet to play a single minute together, and it may take some time for them to build chemistry.  It’s also hard to bet on the Heat when their best player, Dwyane Wade, has problems staying on the court. Wade hasn’t played over 69 games in a season since the 2010-11 season. Even some of their role players have bad histories with injuries. Amare Stoudemire and Luol Deng are expected to be big contributors for this team, but both players could go down at any time.

It may be a tough road, and the Heat have a list of injury-proned players with big roles, but if they stay healthy, I think we’ll see an Eastern Conference Finals featuring the Cavaliers and Heat battling it out to the death. Okay, maybe death is a little much, but it should be pretty entertaining.
