Last year may have been the strangest one yet for our friend Rio, which of course followed suit to the disastrous season the Heat had as a whole.

Chalmers only started in 37 games, wavering between impressive and confusing (at best) behavior on the court.

He finished the season by averaging 10.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.5 steals on 29.6 minutes of play, but overall did not seem to mesh well with the team:

"“I don’t even really know what my role is on this team anymore. I don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing.”"

Right now, Chalmers is linked to the Los Angeles Lakers and the Philadelphia 76ers, but could still end up staying with the Miami Heat next year as well.

Has Miami seen the last of Almario? Time will tell.
