3. Rony Seikaly

He’s an oldie, but a goodie, Ron Seikaly. The 6’10” Lebanese center spent the first six years of his career down here in Miami, and he did not disappoint.

Over that span, Seikaly averaged 15.4 points and 10.4 rebounds per contest. He shot 48.4 percent from the field, which is maybe on the low side for a center, but it was good enough.

Seikaly’s calling card was his ability to protect the rim with 1.5 blocks per 36 minutes. In 1999, Seikaly won Most Improved Player the Year, the lone individual award of his NBA career. His trademark low-post moves earned him the nickname “Spin Doctor.”

Seikaly had a few ridiculous games during his Heat tenure. His single-game highs include 40 points, 34 rebounds, 8 blocks, and 5 steals.
