2. Miami Heat

Jan 16, 2015; Sacramento, CA, USA; Miami Heat center Chris Bosh (1) high fives forward Luol Deng (9) after Bosh

Starting Five: Goran Dragic, Dwyane Wade, Luol Deng, Chris Bosh, Hassan Whiteside

This may look like a band of misfit toys, but this Heat starting five is packed with talent.

Maybe barring Luol Deng (who could theoretically be replaced by Justise Winslow if he develops quickly), every player in this starting cast could make an All-Star team. Dwyane Wade, when healthy, still looks like a star, Goran Dragic is the best finisher in the league, and Chris Bosh has become arguably the best stretch four in the game. Not to mention they have that behemoth, Hassan Whiteside protecting the paint.

Their starting five has any Heat fan salivating, but there’s still a lot we don’t know about this team. We have no idea how Dragic and Bosh will gel, Wade’s knees are two ticking time bombs, and Whiteside has only started 32 games in his career.

Only time will tell if these misfits can build chemistry, but on paper, this starting five is definitely championship capable.
