Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra has never been one to shy away from the camera. And he has always been extremely eloquent. But during today’s interview, he brought something else to the table: confidence.
You would think that working under people like Micky Arison and Pat Riley for decades would have lit a certain fire much earlier on, but it seems as though the Heat’s 2014-2015 had a tremendous impact on Spoelstra.
Do not get me wrong, Spo has always had his own swagger. He has continuously ignored haters, sticking to his ways time and time again. But having a 37-45 year and missing the playoffs, did something to him.
