2. John Lucas III and Tre Kelley Are In For Training Camp

It was announced today that guards John Lucas III and Tre Kelley were signed by Miami, capping their roster at 20.

Lucas (who was once on my hometown Chicago Bulls) has been in the league for seven years, appearing in 237 games and averaging 4.8 points, 1.5 assists, and 1.0 rebounds, shooting 38.4 percent from the field, and 34.5 percent from beyond-the-arc. Last year, he split his time between the Fujian Sturgeons of the Chinese Basketball Association and the Detroit Pistons.

Kelley was already a part of Heat training camp once, back in 2008, but has spent his career in the Developmental League. There, he competed in 103 games, and averaged 14.3 points, 4.8 assists, 2.7 rebounds, on 45.8 percent shooting from the field and 42.5 percent from 3-point range.
