Seven years ago, John Hollinger took an in-depth look at the 2008-2009 Heat. He claimed that speed was the team’s biggest strength, but that they would need to work on their interior defense.

He also predicted that Miami would go 39-43, coming in ninth in the Eastern Conference.

Ironically, they ended their season with a 43-39 record, making them third in their division and fifth in their conference.
