Bubble Watch

The Heat seem to have its core rotation figured out, but they still have one more roster spot to decide on. The incumbent, Ennis, didn’t play. Rather, Greg Whittington was the one player on a non-guaranteed contract (aka the bubble) that played.

When asked why, Spoelstra was non-committal.

Ennis’ chances didn’t look good when just seeing how many other wings are on this roster and, after watching this game, it seems unlikely he makes the team. Whittington played because Miami simply has more time available at power forward.

However, that could change when Whiteside returns and Haslem returns to his role as the end-of-game cigar.
