“He Does That In Practice”
The Heat have what we call a good problem. Josh Richardson is surpassing expectations. The dude can flat out play, and seven minutes a game (6:31 tonight) isn’t going to be enough time.
Spoelstra will need to figure out a way to get him on the court more.
Spoelstra on Josh Richardson: “That’s what he has to keep on doing: make you notice him. He does that in practice.”

Fellow rookie Winslow played 24 minutes, but it doesn’t make much sense to take time away from him either. James Ennis, however, also played 6-and-a-half minutes. Give those minutes to Richardson, and now he’s playing 12-13 minutes per game. That’s a better way to get the most out of the second-round pick.
Unfortunately, that also spells the end of Ennis. In related news, Greg Whittington played 18 minutes tonight.
