Shooting Guard

1. Dwyane Wade
2. Gerald Green
3. Josh Richardson

Oct 21, 2015; Miami, FL, USA; Miami Heat guard Gerald Green (14) and Dwyane Wade (3) reacts after Green

This is Miami’s most diverse position. Dwyane Wade is a slow-paced, old-man game type of player now. A guard that likes to work in the post and kick out to teammates where possible and, still, a dominant offensive player at times.

Gerald Green is a 3-point shooter and high-flyer, and one of Miami’s best three or four offensive players. He’s advertised with a tendency to screw up on defense, but we’ve yet to see that after the preseason.

Then there is Josh Richardson, a lanky defensive stopper and average shooter.

Miami has plenty of “types” in the shooting guard rotation, and Spoelstra will be able to play them as he sees fit, mixing and matching them up with plenty of different lineups.
