Somehow we have reached November, leaving the month of October and the start of the 2015-2016 NBA season behind. The Miami Heat played their first game of the year on October 28, and have hit the ground running.
Currently 2-1, the Heat faced off against the Charlotte Hornets in a 104-94 victory, marking the first home game of the season. They then traveled to Cleveland, to take on former Miami Mafia member LeBron James and company, where unfortunately they fell short 102-92. But the real action took place on Sunday night, when the Heat overcame a 21 point deficit to blowout the Houston Rockets, 109-89; in the second half alone, they scored 65 points on 59 percent shooting, and went 9-of-12 from beyond the arc. The Rockets on the other hand recorded a measly 26 points, and tallied 1-of-12 in 3-pointers.
Obviously Heat Nation is excited to see what the future holds for their hometown heroes, but to celebrate the start of a new month, here is a quick look back…
