A Second Chance

In the first quarter against the Toronto Raptors, Winslow proved that never giving up on a play is crucial.

While he could have easily given up, and let the five Raptors around him get the rebound, Winslow saw an opportunity to catch them off-guard. And that is exactly what ended up happening. Because of his teammate’s unwillingness to back down, Hassan Whiteside was presented with the chance to score some second-chance points, and low and behold was able to tie the game.

In this case, it not only took sheer strength to knock the ball away, but mental determination as well.
