Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade will soon be trying his hand at something new: flipping houses.

It seems like Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade will soon have a new project on his hands; one that has nothing to do with basketball.

While the 34-year-old is still obviously making the game his priority, Wade will also try to bring another passion of his to life: flipping houses. Wade, along with wife actress Gabrielle Union, are teaming up with HGTV to bring the network a new television show.

"“It’s just our love for HGTV,” Wade explained to the Sun Sentinel. “We watch it all the time. We’re big fans of all them guys. So we had an opportunity because of our passion of the show and it went from there. It’s something fun and something that we both are excited to take on this summer at some point. So it’ll be cool.”"

So when exactly can you catch the power couple get to remodeling? Well, a date is not quite yet set.

"“We haven’t started. Our schedules have been a little busy since we thought about this. But when our schedules open up, the season’s over, and we figure out a time to do it, we’ll get to it… It depends on kind of if it’s going to start off as an episode. But it depends on if we want to cut it up, if we want to make a series out of it. All that stuff is still going to be finalized at a later date. But right now we’re green-lighted to get our show going.”"

The show’s working title for now is the “Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade Project,” with the tagline of: “actress Gabrielle Union and Miami Heat player Dwyane Wade are beginning a passion project — flipping homes. Follow along as they renovate, revitalize and resell a home in a suburban Florida neighborhood.”

Despite this not being the guard’s first off-the-court venture, it is outside of the fashion industry.

Currently he is a part of a China-based sneaker line, a sock line and a neckwear line.

Both Wade and Union took to Twitter earlier to express their excitement.

But for now, the focus of course is the upcoming NBA playoffs. As of Wednesday afternoon, the 43-30 Heat are fourth in the Eastern Conference, and are slated to face the Boston Celtics. However, with nine games still remaining, Miami could continue to climb the rankings.
