Boston Celtics
After beating the Golden State Warriors and attaining a playoff spot, the Celtics are on the up and up.
With a 45-32 record, the team sits in fourth place in the East, only half a game in front of the Heat. They are also currently tied with the Atlanta Hawks.
Isaiah Thomas has been a huge key to Boston’s success this year, averaging 22.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 6.3 assists.
Teammate Evan Turner too has stepped it up recently, averaging 19.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.5 rebounds this month. However, he recently suffered an eye abrasion that may take him out moving forward.
The Celtics will definitely be Miami’s toughest opponent to come, by far.
The Heat have already lost twice to Boston this season. In November, Miami went down 105-95, after Avery Bradley put up 25 points. And then in February, the Heat were beat 101-89, as six different Celtics players went into double-figures.
Miami will certainly have to give the final (regular) game of the year their all, in order to avoid a third loss.
