6. Gerald Green

Ahhh, it’s always fun when we get to this guy, isn’t it?

A high-flying, athletic, streaky wing, Green provides a spark and an attitude off the bench that every team could use. The problem? It only comes along in spurts.

Green came out of the gates blazing this past season, making an impact on defense and being his usual, flashy self on offense. It all seemed to culminate in his 25 point outburst in New York against the Knicks. After that sensational performance, Green’s minutes became more sporadic than his play.

Rookies Josh Richardson and Justise Winslow out-performed him and, when Joe Johnson arrived, Green’s consistent playing time vanished.

Green can still provide a spark off the bench when his shot is falling but Miami may be ready to move on and try to find a more consistent source of shooting.

Prediction: Green signs elsewhere.
