With the NBA Finals in progress, let’s look at the best potential free agents in the series and their possible fit with the Miami Heat.

With the start of free agency less than a month away, the Heat are one of those teams that are going to have to rely heavily on the power of Pat Riley (or South Beach, no state tax, etc.) to replenish the roster.

Miami is set up to makes some moves, if it would like to. With nine players coming off the books, the Heat have the cap space and room to flip the roster over. However, a few of those free agents–namely Dwyane  Wade and Hassan Whiteside–seem to be in the long term plans for Riley and the Heat. Re-signing those two will limit a lot of what they can do, as we’ll get into later.

Still, Miami has championship aspirations and will need to look at each and every option to determine how to best get to the promise land once again.

This list is a look into the best free agents at each position that are still playing.
