3. Harrison Barnes

2015-16 Season: Barnes played in 66 games, starting 59 for the 73-win Warriors. He averaged 11.7 points and 4.9 rebounds, while shooting 47% from the field and 38% from the three point line. He also seemed to stagnate in his development, often seeming like the weak link in the Warriors “Death Lineup”.

Contract Status: Barnes enters the offseason as a restricted free agent, and with the bump in salary cap could command a nice payday somewhere other than Golden State. Given the recent big contracts signed by Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, spending on Barnes doesn’t seem too feasible.

Does He Fit In Miami? No, at least not on the surface. While he does shoot the three pretty well, I think he’d create a logjam at the small forward/power forward tweener slot that Joe Johnson, Luol Deng, and Justise Winslow have carved out. He has good potential and could use a change of scenery, but Miami probably isn’t the best place for him.
