4. J.R. Smith

Maybe not the most appetizing option on the market, but J.R. Smith is a proven three-point shooter who could instantly add offense off the bench.

Even though Smith has become infamously known for being a clown, he did fill his role quite nicely this season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 30-year-old veteran averaged 12.4 points per game this season, while shooting 40 percent from beyond the arc.

Smith’s inconsistency and off the court behavior are causes for concern, but he could be a cheaper option for the Heat than some of the other names on this list.
