3. Marvin Williams

Possibly the best option for the Heat, Marvin Williams could completely change the identity of this team.

As a power forward with a proven outside presence, Williams would allow the Heat to move Bosh back to his original center position, and give this team the ability to really spread the floor. If the Heat are trying to adapt to the current style of modern basketball, Williams is their best option.

Williams shot 40.2 percent from beyond the arc last season and averaged 1.9 made three-pointers per game; both of which were career highs.

However, signing Williams would force the Heat to depend on Bosh’s ability to stay healthy, which is obviously a huge risk. He’s definitely a tempting option, but it’ll be feast or famine with Williams at the four and Bosh back at the five.
