2004 Game Winner vs Hornets

Who could forget the time when a rookie shooting guard wearing No. 3 held Game 1 on his fingertips as he dribbled at the top of the key, drove past his defender and lofted up a smooth runner from the foul line as time wore down.

Bottom. Heat win 81-79.

A legend and a reputation was born. A chest bump from Lamar Odom followed, and the Heat stole Game 1 at home in front of a raucous Miami crowd. The Heat trailed by three at halftime before outscoring New Orleans by 10 in the third. While Miami would hold the lead for most of the fourth, before a couple miscues led to the Hornets tying it at 79 with a P.J. Brown jumper with 53 seconds. Two poor possessions later, and the Heat would have the ball with 11 seconds left.

The rest is history, and forever in Heat lore.

You can imagine Wade reminded Jamaal Magloire of that moment quite often when the two would become teammates later down the line.
