Heading to the northwest without the services of James, Wade and Bosh faced a daunting task against the young and hungry Trail Blazers led by Damian Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge. Many thought the physically larger Aldridge would have his way with Bosh and his skinny frame, but that couldn’t have been further from what transpired.

Trailing for much of the night, Bosh was consistently out-witting Aldridge and Robin Lopez down low, all while knocking down all three of his attempts from beyond the arc, all of which came in the fourth quarter. With just seconds to play and the Heat trailing by two, Wade received the ball on the left-wing and began to move to his right. Managing to get all the way to the basket, Wade then swung the ball back out to Bosh, who was a minimum of two or three feet beyond the three-point line. With two Blazers closing on him furiously, Bosh calmly released the shot over two sets of outstretched arms.

Bottom. A missed tip-in by Aldridge followed, and the Heat walked out of the Rose Garden victors in dramatic fashion. Even more memorable than the shot? The way James bombarded Bosh after the buzzer went off. Classic.
