Miami Heat will play two playoff teams at home during 2017-18 preseason

The Miami Heat will play two playoff teams at home during the 2017-18 preseason.

Plenty of teams are still playing in the postseason, but the Miami Heat unfortunately have to turn their focus to next season. On Thursday, the team announced its preseason home schedule. The Heat will play the Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets and Washington Wizards at home during the 2017-18  preseason.

The Heat will play their first game at AmericanAirlines Arena against the Hawks on Oct. 1 at 6 pm ET. They will then take on the Hornets on Oct. 9 at 7:30 pm ET and finish their preseason home slate against the Wizards on Oct. 11 at 7:30 pm ET.

Individual tickets for the three home games will go on sale Friday, April 28, at noon eastern, according to the team. You can purchase tickets on HEAT.com or Tickermaster.com. Tickets can also be purchases at the Tissot Ticket Center at AmericanAirlines Arena starting on Monday, May 1 at 10 am ET and continuing Mondays through Fridays from 10 am ET to 5 pm ET. Ticket prices start at $10 plus applicable fees.
