James Johnson’s top five dunks of the season
By Rob Slater
4. The left handed putback
This dunk may look simple but it is another impressive display of body control and concentration as Johnson hangs in the air for a crucial putback dunk late in a tight game against Brooklyn.
The impressive aspect here is Johnson’s commitment to going up regardless of how the ball comes off the rim. He’s fully in stride when the shot comes off–and it has to come off perfectly–to put himself in position to finish. Of course, extra style points for using the left hand.
