Pro: Fills the offensive void left by Chris Bosh

Losing a player of Bosh’s caliber has forged a tremendous gap in Miami’s offensive efficiency over the past three years, and has resulted in several offensive inefficiencies.

At times, their offense has looked anemic, while on several occasions it’s ran like a well-oiled machine.

If there’s one thing an individual can guarantee about Aldridge, it is this: the man can score.

Sometimes at will.

He puts up averages of 19.1 points and 8.3 rebounds for his career on a healthy 49 percent rate from the field and has even extended his range to beyond the arc, hitting a career-high 41 percent from downtown this past season.

While he certainly hasn’t been producing at the level he once was with the Trail Blazers, Aldridge is a dangerous weapon on the offensive end, and can be deadly when utilized correctly.

With Goran Dragic running the show and a physically imposing presence down low in Hassan Whiteside, Aldridge would have all the open looks he desires, and Miami would reap the benefits.
