LeBron James forever left his mark with the Miami Heat.

Dwyane Wade will always cherish playing alongside best friend LeBron James via the Miami Heat.

In fact, he recently admitted that he plans to one day have James sign a certain photo for him.

Which of course, prompted many fans to take a walk down memory lane.

While James may currently be focused on getting past the Boston Celtics in order to make the 2018 NBA Finals, Heat Nation can comfortably sit back and reflect on the good old days.

So, here are five of James’ best moments, during his four years in South Florida.

Championship No. 1

The King may have enjoyed many memorable moments in Miami, but it’s safe to say that nothing felt better than winning that very first title.

On June 21, 2012, the Heat defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 4-1, earning James his first ever championship. He scored 26 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out 13 assists, helping his team come out on top, 121-106. He also ended up being named Finals MVP for the first time in his career, after averaging 28.6 points, 10.2 rebounds and 7.4 assists against the Thunder.

Running It Back

One title is great, but two is that much better, which is exactly why the superstar’s second title will never be forgotten. On June 20, 2013, James helped Miami win back-to-back championships; a feat that pretty much erased the Heat’s 2010-11 postseason campaign. The Big Three led the team to a 4-3 victory over the San Antonio Spurs, after Ray Allen‘s buzzer beater saved the day in Game 6.

James scored 37 points in Game 7, and was once again named Finals MVP, having averaged 25.3 points, 10.9 rebounds and 7.0 assists over those seven contests.

A Rivalry

There’s always been something between the Ohio-native and the Celtics, and this was no different during James’ time in Miami. Needless to say, taking Boston down 4-1 in the Eastern Conference semifinals on May 11, 2011 was a thing of beauty.

Refusing to accept defeat, James scored the final 10 points of game, providing the Heat the chance to go on a 16-0 run. Miami won, 97-87, and advanced to next round.

61

On March 3, 2014, James did the unthinkable: he scored 61 points against the Charlotte Bobcats. Marking both a career-high and franchise-record, it was clear he was living his very best life out in South Beach.

In the 124-107 victory over the Bobcats, James shot 22-of-33 from the field (including draining eight 3-pointers). He recorded 24 points in the first half, followed by 25 in the third quarter alone. He was doing a little bit of everything out there, showcasing just how well-rounded of a player he had developed into.

A Homecoming

The Decision frustrated a lot of people, but none more so than Cleveland Cavaliers fans. And unfortunately, the frustration set in yet again, as the Heat visited Cleveland on December 2, 2011, and won 118-90.

James scored 38 points, alongside five rebounds and eight assists, and had zero turnovers on the night.
