And what was your favorite moment of his from last season?

Tachauer: My favorite Wade moment of 2017-18 was honestly just his press conference on February 9, after it was announced that he would be coming back, via a trade from the Cavaliers. Everything about it was pure magic. From his “I Feel Like Flash” tee (which I’m now fortunate enough to own in hat form), to him holding that Miami Vice microphone, to the way he first greeted the reporters… in that moment, no matter what else was going on outside of basketball, absolutely everything in the world seemed right once more. Look at the glimmer in his eyes. Look at that smile. Even though everyone assumed a reunion would happen at some point, no one expected it to be so soon.

Gewirtz: My favorite Wade moment from last season was his game on March 8 against the Philadelphia 76ers at home, when he scored 16 points on 7-of-13 shooting. While this was not at the level of his Game 2 performance against the Sixers in the first round of the playoffs, it was very memorable for me because I was in attendance. With under a minute left in the fourth quarter, there was one play in particular when Wade was assisted by Richardson and finished with a dunk that electrified the AmericanAirlines Arena. Not to mention the team was playing in the Miami Vice uniforms, which are my favorite. The Heat ended up winning that game 108-99 and being in the building for my first time since Wade’s return made it extra special.

Fingers crossed on another year from Wade.
