Who will you forever continue to campaign for, to become a member of the team?

Eyrich: I’m going with the young gun, Donovan Mitchell. I love everything about him as a player. From his attitude to his skill, he actually reminds me a lot of Dwyane Wade in his early years.

Ebrahim: My biggest dream would be for LeBron James to come back to the team. I was secretly hoping he would do that this offseason to join some of the grinders on the team right currently. But I’m officially all-in for the Jimmy Butler sweepstakes now. The more I see him play, the more I see his chemistry with Wade, the more I hear about him getting mad at Timberwolves players for coasting, the more I think he belongs in the Heat Culture. I truly believe that Riley should be calling Minnesota mid-season and gauging their interest in taking back some players, as opposed to having him walk at the end of the season for nothing. And when free agency rolls around, I know his relationship with Wade at least gets the Heat in the room. After that, Riley does what Riley does.

Rahming: For me, it’s Uncle Drew, aka Kyrie Irving. He’s been on my short list ever since he began to force his way out of Cleveland last summer. During that process, he mentioned the Heat as a destination he’d like to see himself playing for. To see Maimi listed along with the San Antonio Spurs, and Boston Celtics, absolutely validated the culture Riley and Spoelstra were creating and maintaining. Nailing a top five point guard in his prime would legitimately help the Heat’s salary cap and rotation issues. Redundant guards like Dragic and Johnson would have to be traded away, and no one would complain since Irving would also be on his way. This would give more opportunities for players like Josh Richardson and Winslow to be showcased more often. Side note: I would love to see what Spoelstra could do schematically with one of the best dribblers of all time on the roster.
