Of Miami’s non-guaranteed players, who are you most interested in following?

Mora: Jarnell Stokes. First off, I was excited even back when he played in Tennessee. He has great wingspan to soon become a solid threat defensively. He does needs to develop a better perimeter shot, but has the athleticism to do so with no problem,. I was excited when he signed with Miami back in 2015, but was quickly sent to the G-Leauge affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce. I think he has similar talent and motivation to that of Bam Adebayo; no one thought he would become a quick learner and adapt so easily, and Stokes can be that player as well. He just needs Miami to have patience and believe in him.  I feel he could deliver if given the chance.

Ebrahim: Does Duncan Robinson count? Surely, he does, right? (Editor’s note: absolutely). He is by far my favorite non-guaranteed player on the roster. I mean, after watching him light it up in this year’s Summer League for the Heat, especially from beyond the arc, I truly believe if he plays a solid role this season, he could be the answer for the team (especially if they end up having to let Ellington walk next year). Following the footsteps of some of the ‘unknown’ Heat snipers of the past (Daequan Cook, Jason Kapono, James Jones), Robinson could become that type of player for this squad for the foreseeable future. He shot 63 percent from 3-point range in five Summer League games, and at Michigan, he shot ~42% percent from downtown over 115 career games.
