In honor of the Miami Heat bringing back their Vice campaign this season, here are four of the team’s best Vice games from 2017-18.

February 27, 2018

On February 8, 2018, an incredible thing took place: Dwyane Wade was traded back to the Miami Heat.

After having played short stints with both the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers, the superstar returned to his rightful location, and played out the remainder of the 2017-18 NBA season in South Florida.

He averaged 12.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists over 21 games in 22.2 minutes of play for the Heat last year, signing a final one-year contract with the team this past summer.

(And thus, #OneLastDance was born.)

Just six contests into THE R3TURN though, the veteran scored a season-high 27 points (in 25 minutes) against the Philadelphia 76ers. He shot 10-for-16 from the field, including going 2-of-4 from downtown, and also recorded one rebound, one assist, one block and three steals.

That evening made it clear that Flash was back.

(It also highlighted that Wade enjoyed playing against the 76ers, recording 28 points in 26 minutes on 11-of-16 shooting in Game 2 of the 2018 NBA Playoffs, as well as 25 points in 26 minutes in Game 4.)

Goran Dragic also had himself a nice night though, scoring 21 points in 33 minutes on the 8-for-17 shooting from the field (going 3-of-5 from 3-point land); he also grabbed six rebounds and dished out five assists.

Many may have previously missed the 7/11 duo of Dragic and Dion Waiters (who was sidelined with an ankle injury), but at this point it was becoming obvious that another successful backcourt tandem was blossoming.

Miami came out on top 102-101 over Philadelphia, having previously earned a whopping 115-89 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies a game prior.
