Lastly, give me a hot take for the remaining games this month…

Eyrich: We’ve already seen a few signs of it, but I think Miami puts up a ridiculous pace for the rest of this month. There is a rematch with Brooklyn coming up, as well as games against Chicago and Atlanta where Miami should be able to run the tempo higher. Throw in the Lakers game and the pace Miami will have to use against not only them, but Toronto as well, and the Heat are almost forced to play at a rate that we haven’t seen yet.

Campbell: Miami will be five games or more under .500 by December. You heard it here first.

Rahming: The Heat will not only go 4-2 the rest of the month, but they will also hold LeBron James to 18 points or under Sunday night in his return to South Beach. James seems more content with taking jump shots this season. That fact, combined with the Heat holding Victor Oladipo to just eight points last Friday in Indiana, gives me hope that I come out of this prediction alive. I expect wins against the Lakers, Nets, Bulls, and Hawks. If the team can sneak out a win against the Pelicans, that’d be fantastic, but the Raptors are looking a bit untouchable these days.

Johnson: The November 18 game against the Lakers will be one for the ages. Assuming Wade plays, it’ll be the last time James plays against the Heat with Wade in Miami. Coupled with both teams featuring largely unproven rosters, this game will be a throwback to those exciting Heat-Lakers Christmas games.

dark. Next. Miami Heat: Josh Richardson continues to be a steady rock for team

Fingers crossed the team can turn things around for the better, and fast.
