The Bad

This is more of a concern than a bad thing, but given how the Heat had been playing before the recent success, there remains a question of if the team is for real and if this momentum swing will last. Considering that the NBA season is not even halfway over, there is still a lot to see in the remainder of the season.

I am a believer that this is just the beginning of a good few months ahead. The uphill climb will be no easy feat, as the Heat are still at No. 7 in the Eastern Conference with a 16-16 record.

Despite my believer approach, however, there are still fans and others who do not see this team making much of the season. There are even some who probably wish that this team would still tank, for the sake of the future.

Those opinions are fair, given how hard some games have been to watch with this team.

Could they end up back playing inconstantly? Of course. Is this team full of players still trying to find fluidity amid lineup changes? Yes.

But fans have two options at this point, still somewhat early in the season.

They can let the doubts of the team ruin the fun they are having right now, and just wish away the good things that are being seen from this team.

Or, they can consider that what was a struggle, is now turning into an understanding, as everyone is learning to play to their strengths.
