Miami Heat: Sunset Vice helping to get the team back on track
The Miami Heat may have lost to the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night, but still, plenty went right for them.

Miami Heat Sunrise. Miami Heat Sunset.
Wednesday’s home game against the Toronto Raptors yielded results that couldn’t have been predicted by someone with two feet planted firmly on planet earth. On national television, the Heat debuted their Earned edition jerseys: Sunset Vice.
Donning one of the best jersey lines in the league, saying the team looked good would be an understatement.
As I say before every music gig, “Look good, play good.”
If the Vice Nights jerseys would eventually be labeled as cursed by the squad, what might become of Sunset Vice?
Lucky?
With a 7-3 record in their last ten games, the Heat might finally be realizing that their play determines the outcomes for games, not the threads.
Since this may be the last stop on the early season fate train, let’s take some time to digest how the cruel spirit of luck played both mother and executioner last night.
Just from the eye test, viewers could tell point guard Justise Winslow was piloting the ship.
You’re going to have to get used to saying that now too, since head coach Erik Spoelstra has named him the team’s starting point guard while Goran Dragic (knee) is out for an extended time.
All Heat players were making sure to find Winslow after every change of possession, as well as when the offense would break down. By the end of the first half, he managed to accumulate seven points, three assists, a made 3-pointer, and zero turnovers.
He was calm and collected, and honestly looked more like a point guard than Philadelphia’s Ben Simmons.
