Tim Hardaway Jr., New York Knicks

Tim Hardaway was a great guard for the Miami Heat, and also a clutch one that helped build the current Heat culture.

However, Tim Hardaway Jr. may bring some other things to the table that his Dad couldn’t, which is mostly that mamba mentality for better or worse. If you haven’t watched much Hardaway Jr. film, he is essentially a Dion Waiters that tends to back up his smack talk a lot more than the former.

The swap of Waiters and Hardaway Jr. could just be a simple trade idea here, maybe with a draft pick involved from Miami.

And it isn’t just a linear move for both organizations, as New York has been rumored to just want out of his deal and move on to a new player. As for Miami, getting a better and more – oddly – consistent player than Waiters’ may be what’s best for the organization moving forward.

Plus, it would just be pretty cool to see Tim Hardaway at more Miami games, think of the possibilities.

In conclusion, I would give up any of the Heat’s assets besides the 3 young guys and Goran Dragic.
