Miami Heat: 20 helpful players the Heat could trade for by the deadline
By Trey Flynn
Jabari Parker, Chicago Bulls
While Miami has had their own internal battles over lineups and drama surrounding Dion Waiters, there has not been a more openly dramatic situation than the Chicago Bulls during the regular season this year.
Specifically, Jabari Parker has been a headache for Chicago since he signed his $20 million contract this past summer. The Bulls and their new Head Coach Jim Boylen look to have given up on the 23-year-old because of his attitude toward the direction of the franchise. And while the Bulls have quite a few solid young assets, Parker seems to be angrier in the direction that Chicago is going in terms of coaching.
So to lose the political correctness, Parker thinks Boylen is a horrible coach.
The problem for Parker is, Chicago does not feel the same way after extending Boylen only a month after benching Parker for not following team guidelines at practice. Even though Parker has been a negative player this year, he still has a ton of potential to be a good role player/starter, but unfortunately has been given up on because of his lack of defense.
Parker in a Heat jersey is not exactly what Miami needs, as they already have a few different players in that position, but they could simply do a swap of a big man with a hefty contract for Parker, and there are too many trade ideas to count considering the amount of high-contract players that Miami has.
