Marc Gasol, Memphis Grizzlies

Oh, you thought we would go with Chandler Parsons? No.

It seems that the Memphis Grizzlies have finally given up on their veteran duo of Mike Conley Jr. and Marc Gasol. The Grizz, just this past season, fired David Fizdale for essentially not getting along with Gasol, and now they may be moving the big man.

Not a good front office sign moving forward for this franchise, especially because no team really needs centers right now. However, if Memphis is just trying to get a few picks and a similar contract back, Miami could make a move.

Hassan Whiteside and a future first may get a deal done with Memphis for Gasol, and the 3-time All-Star would really help this Heat team right now, as they could truly need a center that could shoot from the mid-range and downtown.

Gasol will only get paid for the next few seasons, so Miami wouldn’t necessarily be losing anything from making this move for the 33-year-old stretch-big.

I love this deal for both teams, as Memphis really wants draft picks moving forward with their new star in Jaren Jackson Jr., and the Heat need a savvy veteran to complete this team to win in the meantime with their other veteran All-Star’s Goran Dragic and Dwyane Wade.
