Dennis Smith Jr., Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks have heavily invested in their current starting lineup that could be without Dennis Smith Jr. moving forward. The Slovenian superstar Luka Doncic is the point guard of the future in Dallas and DSJ may find a new home sometime soon.

And as Miami already has a solid point guard in Justise Winslow to replace Goran Dragic when he finally decides to hang it up, the Heat can use Winslow in a Tyreke Evans point forward way and give DSJ the primary minutes as the ball-handler.

the 21-year-old has a lot of potential and the Heat have the assets to make a move for him, as the Mavs would love to pair Wesley Matthews (expiring contract) with the young guard to make a move for a playoff-caliber player to pair alongside Doncic, Harrison Barnes and DeAndre Jordan.

The first name that comes to mind is the other guard out of Slovenia in Dragic, I can see Doncic playing very well with Goran and cementing the duo as a fan favorite over the next few years. The craftiness of Doncic and Dragic was highlighted in the Eurocup two summers ago where we saw Dragic win the Euro-MVP.

I love any move that can get DSJ on this Heat team that somehow keeps the other youngbloods in Winslow, Josh Richardson, and Bam Adebayo together.
