The Miami Heat get Zach LaVine; the Chicago Bulls get Ricky Rubio, Thabo Sefolosha, and Ekpe Udoh; The Utah Jazz get Dion Waiters, Wayne Ellington, and Kris Dunn

In this particular deal, the Miami Heat would need the Utah Jazz in order to help facilitate things in order to get it done. This is the case because, in order for the trade to happen, there has to be similar amounts of money, as mentioned earlier.

The Miami Heat get a scorer, that was easy. The Bulls get Rubio, who is on an expiring contract at $15 million, Ekpe Udoh’s expiring contract at $3.4 million, as well as Sefolosha’s at $5.3 million per. This work’s for the Bull’s because they would have that much more cap space in the very next season.

The Jazz would get Ellington, Waiters, and Dunn. Donovan Mitchell of the Jazz has been blockbuster when he is able to have the ball in his hands, and he wasn’t as good off the ball. That makes perfect sense as to why he should be the point guard. With Kris Dunn’s defensive capabilities and his improving jump shot, he could slot in right beside Mitchell as well as help with point guard duties when called upon.

When thinking about the style of play and pace that the Jazz run with, they can never have enough shooters to hit 3’s and space the floor. Dion Waiters hasn’t begun to make shots like he fully can yet, but he can still help a team devoid of shooting. Ellington is one of the top shooters in the league, so he could definitely help the Jazz in that area.
