As the 27-33 Miami Heat beat the Golden State Warriors last night with a buzzer beating 3-pointer from Dwyane Wade, a thought settles in your mind, was that the last game-winner for Wade?

With the Miami Heat beating the world-best Golden State Warriors, you would probably think most of Heat nation would be ecstatic? And while you’re definitely not wrong, a thought does settle, was that Dwyane Wade’s last game-winner?

There isn’t a simple answer, but Wade has shown himself to be one of the more clutch NBA players of all-time. Wade and Head Coach Erik Spoelstra put it best here, per Ira Winderman of Sun Sentinel:

"“It was just an amazing moment,” Wade said after exulting on the court, “especially with what we have been going through. A lot of close games and losing them. For me that was special and it was fun.”“His raw, genuine emotion after the play is the favorite one that I’ve seen,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. “That raw joy is what it’s all about.”However, Spoelstra had a simple goal going into this one, “I’d like to find some consistency and finish a game at home.”"

Spo is definitely not wrong, while all of Heat nation would love to see some consistency and finish games at home, seeing that genuine excitement from the Heat team and Wade woke up most of the fans in AmericanAirlines Arena, as well as maybe even the team themselves.

Now, for the question if this was Wade’s last game-winner, the 37-year-old has had some incredible runs and made some intense late-game winning shots. Moreover, its never too late, until the flash himself retires (can we talk you out of it, Dwyane?)
